So a little background info on myself. I'm a soon to be thirty year old writer who also happens to geek out a lot. There's so much fun to be had with it I just can't help myself.
I mostly write novels, or at least I'm trying to finish one then make my over to the next one, but I've been trying to dabble into short stories and possibly even turn a few of my ideas into comics/graphic novels. Any artists out there who would like to help me out with that side of things please send me a shout.
I live in Salt Lake City, though I'm not a native so I'm still trying to figure things out...crazy yet practical grid system geez...
Anyway, I've recently been trying to make an effort in getting serious about my writing. Before it was just fun stuff, nothing really serious. Now after having joined a writing group, attending a few conferences, speaking with many writers, I realize that maybe I should make this a serious venture....and finish something. That's the other thing I haven't yet finished a story but I have about twenty different ideas or books started. Me a slacker....maybe....I'll have to get back to you on that...
I write mostly science fiction but I'm trying to expand my horizons and try this and that. I'm not so good with comedy and I'm trying out horror, and though my stories do sometimes have an element or two of fantasy I'm not a big fantasy fan. Magic and dragons and other realms are cool, but I'd rather read about them when I can. Maybe someday...
So far that's me, there's more but you'd have to actually know me, email me, etc to find out the rest. Simply put I'm a writer, girl geek, wanderer who loves to write, veg out with movies and video games, and listen to a lot of audiobooks. I'm sure there's some people out there who might disagree with the way I'm writing my About Me page but oh well. This is my style, this is my rambling, so this is how I'd do it.
